Luxor Hotel and Casino

Written by lasvegasnevada.info

Luxor Hotel and Casino is one of the more interesting designs of all the hotels in Vegas, with its structure in pyramid form. There are many themed-hotels on the Las Vegas Strip and perhaps this is the main reason for their popularity. Of course the casinos at these different hotels are very popular, too, but the themes that run through the hotels around Las Vegas are completely amazing! For example, the Luxor Las Vegas hotel has been known to have an Eastern decor theme running through the entire hotel, with the entrance to it making guests feel like they're entering something that came out of The Mummy. Inside the hotel is filled with not only Eastern decor and Egyptian material items, but there's even a replica of an Egyptian tomb called The Tomb of Tutankhamun that was placed at the Luxor. Guests can get admitted to see this feature for only $5, which is probably the cheapest out of anything that you'll ever get to do in all of Las Vegas.

However, there are several other attractions at the Luxor Las Vegas hotel which makes staying at the hotel a unique experience. For example, In Search of the Obelisk is a motion simulator ride that many people stay at the Luxor specifically for. Of course you'll also have to pay a slightly more expensive price just to be able to ride this motion simulator but many people consider it a great ride that they would stay at the Luxor again to ride. The other attraction is the Luxor IMAX theater. If you have ever been to an IMAX theater then you probably already know how fun the theater can be, but the Luxor does guests in with the giant theater space that guests can enjoy!

Of course with all Las Vegas hotels the Luxor has a giant casino area for the guests! With over 100,000 square feet of poker tables, slot machines, and gambling rooms there's really enough room to get lost in. After you're done gambling for the night, though, the Luxor also has a huge Lounge that is well-lit and colorful. Many people go there to wind down for the evening after they've had a long day. The Lounge, though, is the primary area where much of the entertainment takes place. Whether you're interested in seeing more Egyptian decor, going to the dance scene, or just enjoy an ice-cold Pepsi or Coca-Cola, pretty much everything is available or close to the Lounge.

If you want more relaxation, though, there is a fabulous poolside on the Luxor Las Vegas property. Guests can even choose to pay for their own private cabana, but many people want to simply bathe in the sun under their giant swimming pool.

You can't escape the Egyptian and Eastern decor through any part of the hotel, though. When going back to your room to sleep it will be very evident that the Luxor is trying to keep the same theme running throughout the entire hotel. The guest rooms are fabulous, though, with comfortable beds and deep tubs that'll make you feel right at home! All in all, the Luxor Las Vegas is a tremendous hotel where everyone should definitely have the chance of staying!
